Indoor Unit Cleaning
Both air filters on this unit were packed with dust, so the fan had to pull air through a blanket. Clean filters are the simplest thing you can do for cooling, and you can rinse them yourself every two weeks between services.

Looking up through the air outlet, every blade of this blower wheel was lined with a thick crust of dust. That crust cuts airflow and is where musty smells come from. After cleaning, the blades are clear.

Regular maintenance (general cleaning) cleans the filter and does a surface clean of the coil. Chemical wash uses chemical solution to deep clean the coil, removing mould, scale and bacteria that regular cleaning cannot reach. Chemical wash is recommended every 6–12 months in addition to regular maintenance.

If the unit is not cooling well and the filter is clean, it likely needs a repair. If the filter is dirty or the unit smells, maintenance is the first step. Our technician will diagnose on arrival.
